Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager based in India to join our team. This role requires expertise in understanding financial statements, strong analytical skills, prior experience in working on NetSuite Planning and Budgeting, and a collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the financial planning and reporting processes, drive insightful analytics and to work effectively with department leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Lead the preparation, management, and monitoring of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Have a strong working knowledge of NetSuite Planning and Budgeting to be able to create and manage financial models and reports independently.
    • Provide scenario analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning efforts.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Develop and monitor key financial metrics and provide variance analysis to help course correct. Improve upon financial reporting analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.
    • Support and build customized dashboards in PowerBI and NetSuite Planning and Budgeting to provide actionable insights.
    • Deliver timely and accurate financial reports with analysis of key trends and drivers.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Partner with the finance team for month end activities and to provide other information as may be required
    • Work closely with leaders across departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR) to build their annual plans and reforecasts. Support them in understanding financial implications and opportunities.
  • Systems and Process Improvement:
    • Leverage NetSuite ERP and Planning tools to optimize reporting and improve integration and automation of financial workflows.
    • Continuously evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Independent Execution:
    • Will take ownership of end-to-end FP&A processes, working autonomously to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
    • Manage competing priorities effectively and deliver results in a deadline-based environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proficiency in NetSuite Planning and Budgeting and reporting tools such as PowerBI.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and actionable insights.
  • Highly collaborative and able to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders across functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into clear narratives.
  • Strong initiative and a self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and drive improvements.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A roles with hands-on exposure to financial planning tools and systems.
  • Previous experience in working with global teams is a plus.
