The Advanced SciTech (AST) team focuses on current and emerging trends and technologies in various industries, including food, personal care, CPG, healthcare, etc., and assesses how technology evolution can define and impact the future of industries. From our membership to custom support, the AST team supports clients through its fact-based data and insights to analyze and assess technology trends, emerging and disruptive technologies, and topical issues and considerations across specific landscapes. This is an exciting team segment, and the Senior Analyst will be expected to analyze technology developments, innovations, and industry landscape along with the impact of enabling technologies such as automation, digitization, sustainability, etc. The Senior Analyst is expected to contribute to the research program by delivering high-quality, original research reports and custom advisory projects. This will require the candidate to maintain an ongoing dialogue with senior industry executives on key issues, as well as help answer their queries. The candidate will be required to deliver custom research engagements on broader themes in the industry that help our clients grow and compete better.
Key responsibilities
- Identify areas of research based on industry and client needs
- Problem solving and structure work to manage deliverables and timelines
- Contribute significantly to the published research agenda of the team
- Actively develop domain expertise across the industry vertical, leveraging subject matter experts, and external sources
- Support business development efforts, if needed through proposal writing and other initiatives
- Participate proactively in external market communication by responding to analyst enquiries, conducting executive conversations, and maintaining/growing long-term client relationships

Education & experience
- Master’s degree or Ph.D or Post-doc degree; MBA is an added advantage
- 2 to 4 years post-Master’s work experience in technology/advisory/research/strategy environment.
- Keen interest in technology and technology industry is strongly preferred
- Experience in tracking F&B, consumer health, personal care, healthcare and CPG is needed
- History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
