Leading global research firm Everest Group has released its latest 2025 versions of the Top GBS Employers™ 2025 in India, the Philippines, and Poland and the Top Employers for Tech Talent™ 2025 in India, the US, and the UK reports.
In both reports, Everest Group analyzes the brand perception of leading GBS and tech employers across multiple dimensions for over 800+ organizations across India, the Philippines, Poland, the US, and the UK.
As the global job market evolves from economic uncertainty to renewed dynamism, the competition for top talent is intensifying. In this environment, a strong employer brand has become a key differentiator, especially for Global Business Services (GBS) organizations.
Organizations that invest in talent and cultivate cultures of innovation, growth, and engagement are better positioned to attract and retain high-performing professionals. Furthermore, for GBS employers, this presents a strategic opportunity to stand out in an increasingly skills-driven landscape.
The Top GBS Employers™ 2025 report provides a comprehensive analysis of employer brand perceptions across more than 400 GBS organizations in India, the Philippines, and Poland. It offers insights into how these employers are viewed in their local talent markets, evaluating factors such as attrition, growth, and employee satisfaction.
Similarly, the Top Employers for Tech Talent™ 2025 in India, the US, and the UK focuses on over 425 tech companies. This report will comprehensively assess the leading tech employers across various research dimensions.
Key findings from the reports:
- Employer brand perception (both for GBS and tech) continues to deteriorate YoY (average 5-7% decline)
- Culture impacts EVP perception: average scores in the Philippines over the last 4 years were 3-8% higher than average scores in the US, UK, and Poland over the same period
- Perceived lack of investment in career development and upskilling remains a major concern for employees (ratings dropped 6-10% YoY)
- Perception of work environment and compensation and benefits remain crucial for EVP in GBS, showing a strong ~70% correlation with organizations recognized as top GBS employers
- While brand perception remains volatile, 2025 has shown greater stability – only ~28% of last year’s top employers dropped from the top quadrant, a notable improvement from ~42% in 2024

According to Rohitashwa Aggarwal, Partner at Everest Group: “In today’s hyper-competitive talent market, perception is power—and what talent thinks of your brand often matters more than what you say about it. Everest Group’s Top Employers for Tech Talent and Top GBS Employers reports expose how your organization is truly perceived across global talent hotspots—by the very people you’re trying to attract and retain.
These are not vanity rankings. They’re hard-hitting, data-backed diagnostics that reveal how your employer brand stacks up against competitors—and where the cracks are forming.
The harsh reality is that Employer brand perception has been falling since 2022. Investments in career development—or the lack of it—is now one of the biggest red flags for talent. Without clear growth paths and real investment in upskilling, engagement drops. So does loyalty.
This research isn’t just a mirror. It’s a map—to recalibrate your EVP, close perception gaps, and build a talent brand that actually wins.”
As the talent landscape grows increasingly competitive, organizations are now evolving their employer branding strategies to stay ahead. Everest Group’s data clearly shows that companies investing in engagement and sustainability are best positioned to attract and retain top talent. As the marketplace continues to evolve, we will continue to keep our fingers on the pulse and will continue to track this market and update our assessment annually.
